Meadowsweet oil is known as the "aspirin herb" and was studied extensively in the 1800's to determine the elements which helped to relieve pain. Their findings later helped in the development of aspirin. Meadowsweet is very effective at reducing headaches and decreasing localized pain in muscles and joints. It also reduces inflammation and promotes circulation.  
**This oil contains naturally-derived salicylic acid (the natural form of the chemical that is in aspirin). Do not use it if you have an aspirin allergy or are taking aspirin or a product containing aspirin on a regular basis.
